Henry Ford + MSU Musculoskeletal Research Retreat

The inaugural Henry Ford + MSU Musculoskeletal Research Retreat will bring together researchers, clinicians, trainees. and health care professionals from Michigan State University and Henry Ford Health who are passionate about musculoskeletal research.

Whether participants seek to share their work, cultivate new collaborations, or explore the latest advancements in the field, this Henry Ford + MSU retreat will offer a dynamic environment for idea exchange and networking. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

During the Henry Ford + MSU Musculoskeletal Research Retreat, attendees can look forward to:

• Rapid Presentations: Hear from leading researchers and clinicians as they share cutting-edge musculoskeletal research.
• Networking Sessions: Connect with colleagues across institutions to explore potential collaborations.
•  Discussion Groups: Engage in interactive conversations on key research topics and challenges.
• Poster Session: Present research and gain valuable feedback. 
• Mixer: Conclude the day with informal networking in a comfortable and relaxed setting

Special Remarks
The Henry Ford + MSU partnership is pleased to have MSU President Kevin Guskiewicz, Ph.D. and Henry Ford Health Orthopedics Chair Jon Braman, M.D., speak at the inaugural Henry Ford + MSU Musculoskeletal Research Retreat. Guskiewicz and Braman will offer valuable insights on the future of musculoskeletal research and collaboration between Henry Ford and MSU.

POSTER GUIDELINES AND SUBMISSION

All are welcome to submit a poster, either broadly overviewing their research, clinical, education program, and/or, on specific projects. This includes researchers, clinicians, trainees, health care professionals, and others with an interest in musculoskeletal research from Michigan State University and Henry Ford Health.

Review the poster guidelines before submitting a poster to present at the Henry Ford + MSU Musculoskeletal Research Retreat. 

• Submission Deadline: Friday, May 30, 2025
• Selection Process: Posters will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Important: To be considered, poster presenters must be registered to attend the Henry Ford + MSU Musculoskeletal Research Retreat.
• Notification: A confirmation email will be sent out shortly after the submission deadline for posters that are selected.
