Inaugural Henry Ford + MSU Neuroscience Research Symposium

The inaugural Henry Ford + MSU Neuroscience Research Symposium will bring together researchers, clinicians, trainees, and health care professionals from Michigan State University and Henry Ford Health who are passionate about advancing neuroscience research.

Whether participants aim to share their work, cultivate new collaborations, or explore the latest developments in the field, this event will provide a vibrant environment for learning and exchange. The symposium will feature a broad range of neuroscience topics, including neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation, addiction, neurovascular science, neurodevelopmental disorders, and more.

This event is free, but registration is required to participate.

  • Special Remarks: The Henry Ford + MSU partnership is pleased to have MSU President Kevin Guskiewicz, Ph.D. and Henry Ford Hospital CEO and Henry Ford Medical Group CEO Steven Kalkanis, M.D., speak at the inaugural Henry Ford + MSU Neuroscience Research Symposium. Guskiewicz and Kalkanis will offer valuable insights on the future of neuroscience research and collaboration between Henry Ford and MSU.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

The Henry Ford + MSU Neuroscience Research Symposium will offer continuing education credits for event participants. Additional details will be available soon.


POSTER GUIDELINES AND SUBMISSION

All are welcome to submit a poster, whether presenting an overview of ongoing research, clinical initiatives, educational programs, or specific projects. Submissions are encouraged from researchers, clinicians, trainees, health care professionals, and others engaged in neuroscience research at Michigan State University and Henry Ford Health.

Please review the poster guidelines before submitting your proposal to present at the Henry Ford + MSU Neuroscience Research Symposium.

  • Submission Deadline: Wednesday, August 20, 2025
  • Selection Process: Posters will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Important: To be considered, poster presenters MUST be registered to attend the Henry Ford + MSU Neuroscience Research Symposium.
  • Notification: A confirmation email will be sent out shortly after the submission deadline for posters that are selected.
